| Welcome to the 1st Kildwick and Farnhill Scout Group website. So...a bit about us. We currently have a Cub section; a Scout section and an Explorer section, called Valhalla. Every year since 1941 we have done a Gang Show, which we now call The Scout Show. Every year the whole South Craven District, including Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, meet at Gargrave for the annual District Camp. Here they do a wide range of activities from Backwoods cooking to Orienteering. We also hold an annual Summer Camp, which our group only go on. We have gone to various places over the years including, Northumberland, North Wales and North York Moors. Our HQ is based in Glusburn at the bottom of Hartley Street on Colne Rd, across from the Mill. The Cubs meet on Tuesdays 6.30pm till 8.00pm, Scouts meet on Fridays 7.00pm till 9.00pm and The Explorers meet on a Mondays 7.30pm till 9.30pm. |
